Sally’s Champagne Crust

You’ll need:

  • Fruit
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 60g of butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 1 cup of self-raising flour

Method:

  1. Boil enough fruit to half-fill a medium-sized pie dish – we use the Le Creuset shallow casserole dish, perfect for baking!
  2. Mix together the sugar, butter, egg, and milk
  3. Stir in 1 cup of flour
  4. Pour the mixture of the fruit – the fruit must be boiling
  5. Cook for 30mins in a hot oven at 240 degrees

Then serve with your choice of cream, ice cream, or custard and enjoy!
