Sally’s Champagne Crust
You’ll need:
- Fruit
- ½ cup of sugar
- 60g of butter
- 1 egg
- ½ cup of milk
- 1 cup of self-raising flour
Method:
- Boil enough fruit to half-fill a medium-sized pie dish – we use the Le Creuset shallow casserole dish, perfect for baking!
- Mix together the sugar, butter, egg, and milk
- Stir in 1 cup of flour
- Pour the mixture of the fruit – the fruit must be boiling
- Cook for 30mins in a hot oven at 240 degrees
Then serve with your choice of cream, ice cream, or custard and enjoy!
